Music is my ¿Philosophy?

I´d been asking myself lately the huge responsability musitians have these days. In a world were every time more theres less reading, music has become in one of the few methods of giving your knowlwegment to people and mostly young people. MTV has become a bible to all of us. But, nowadays, entertainment industry is only about showing how to get rich and not to die when you try it. Excess in money, sex and drugs. Two weeks ago I saw a theather play called "POP". It showed how young guys get inside these ideals of life -if it can be called life-, but their own ones were a mess, but all can be repaired making "POP" -getting into drugs- every time they hit bottom.

Its amazing how music can change our moods. The pain I felt when i heard "te hecho de menos" (I miss you) de Bebe when i just broke up whit my realtinship or the exccesive happyness - I still- fell when I hear Kelly Clarkson`s "since you been gone" -It`s like Shakira`s "Don`t bother"-, it`s completly ironic.
What i mean, is that there are not so much song like Bebe`s "Cuidándote" (taking care of you) where she makes you completely accept the fact that things happen the way they have to happen. There are no musitians that aim straight to the middle -ok, there are not some much of those"- It`s allways "revenge and get happy" or get sad and suicide -Juan Fernando Velasco hits bottom with this-.

This morning when I was watching some TV, i turned it to Much Music Channel - another bible but to me, not sooooo bad- and they were showing "Rockstar/Inxcess" and a girl sang a song of Lennon and here a stanza I leave you with: "You may say Im a dreamer, but Im not the only one, I hope some day you'll join us, and the world will live as one".

Iluza11, Things happen the way they have to, there`s a lot of tests to go trough before in order to become better persons. You`v seen it lately. Maybe you shitted it, but you were completely sure about what you were doing, thats good but its time to take the next step.
